Thelma / David Nativ Nacht

Thelma is a romantic comedy about an unusual matchmaking agency, run by Thelma Ganor. Parents register their children for matchmaking without their knowledge, and the agency's staff finds suitable partners for them and stages a "random encounter" that is supposed to spark a romantic relationship.

Eran, a team leader at the company, specializes in planning these encounters and does so with great success. But one day, away from his work, he meets a special girl who intrigues him from the first moment. Before he can write down her phone number, their paths separate.

After a while, he finds out that her father registered her for matchmaking at "Thelma."

Now Eran is supposed to do what he does best - find her another man.

But the company's regulations prohibit its employees from having a romantic relationship with matchmakers, and Eran finds himself in a situation where, for the first time, he doesn't know which encounter he should stage - and which encounter he should prevent.
