The writing remains in your hands, and I accompany you in developing the book and progressing from chapter to chapter.

What does the escort include?

We will adapt the work to the book and the stage of writing you are in. In a prose book, we will work on the plot, characters, point of view, and scenes. In a nonfiction book, we will focus on the main idea, the structure of the chapters, and explanations and examples that will help the target audience understand the content.

I will read your pieces and give you focused feedback: what works, what needs development, and what should be done next. We will also address difficulties that stop writing, such as hesitating between directions, constantly going back for revisions, or difficulty connecting parts of the book. The goal is to help you progress and develop tools that will also be useful in independent writing.

The experience I bring to your book

I am a writer, literary editor, and ghostwriter, with extensive experience writing and editing fiction and non-fiction, and a background in high-tech, media, and business. As a writer, I know the ins and outs and the work it takes to complete a book. As an editor, I help identify what's holding back your manuscript and how to move it forward, while maintaining your style.

When accompanying writers, I combine these two perspectives: attention to detail in each section, alongside a vision of the entire book and what is important to you to express in it.

How will we work together?

We will start by talking about the book, what you have already written, and the help you need. We will plan the book in detail and define what to develop in each chapter, so that you always have a clear direction for the rest of the writing. We will set goals and a pace of work that suits the time you have available. Along the way, we will provide feedback on the writing, hold meetings as needed, and define the next steps.

The plan will remain flexible, to allow for ideas that arise during the writing process. As the book progresses, we will check that the parts fit together. Towards the completion of the draft, we will examine what literary editing or language editing work is still required.
